Birthday weekend bliss.. We were blessed to be able to book out the lodge for our family and friends for the weekend and can without a doubt say this was the best birthday ever! Great vibes, excellent service and views that take your breath away each day! Kayak and sup boards kept the kids busy all day, few went diving and the rest of us lay by the pool, snorkeled and lived our best lives! Food was out of this world! Thank you to the whole team, the smiles and dedication will never be forgotten, the best birthday ever!

Perfect Peaceful Paradise - Ossimba My husband and I have just spent a glorious 8 nights at Ossimba Beach Lodge. What an amazing surprise it was! Quite the most peaceful, beautiful and pristine sea and ocean I have ever experienced in Mozambique, and we have been to many places there. Ossimba has about 2 km of very private and safe lovely white beach to stroll on, with good snorkeling not too far off the beach and good diving too! There are fabulous Baobab trails around the property with literally hundreds of ancient Boababs to admire. Lovely fresh water bird baths are outside each room, which encourages such a variety of little birds and as a result, we were gently woken each morning to lovely, happy birdsong. We cant say enough about Ossimba. The rooms are enormous and very clean with lovely white bed linen and the beds are of excellent quality and extremely comfortable. Spacious bathrooms are with double basins, huge shower and separate loo for privacy. There is a lovely private outdoor shower, which we so enjoyed each morning or evening, showering in the sun overlooking the sea, after a dip in the ocean. Each room has a small beach with steps going down into the crystal clear ocean when the tide is in and a cool veranda where we sat and had our tea and coffee each morning - was delivered to our room! Our food was varied and ample! A good chef in the kitchen who is really eager to please, his omelettes are lovely and the coffee is really good too. The staff are happy and polite with multi-tasker Prince behind the bar, keeping us happy with excellent cocktails. Above all, Kevin Kitley is the best host ever! Nothing is too much trouble. We have left of piece of our hearts in Ossimba and will remember it as our special place on our planet. So, if you are looking for something different where you can feel quite at home, this is the place for you. The trip is well worth it! Thank you all at Ossimba. Well done!Cathy and Peter Reck, Cape Town, South Africa.

Absolute paradise !!! We had the most fantastic time. The Host was wonderful, the resort out of this world. It is lovely to know that there are places still left that have not been over run and destroyed by tourism etc. This is one of the rare paradises left in the world. Food was so very good and the staff very friendly. Well worth the 3+ hour journey from the airport. It will be much better once the Int airport 40 mins away opens. The diving was brilliant, the reef, coral was in pristine condition, swarming with life. At times we were totally engulfed with fish. We had the whole site to ourselves, no other holiday makers. Just wonderful, 2Km white beaches to walk along. Watching whales while eating your Breakfast, what more can one ask for. We were very lucky and privileged to be able to go to and experience such a wonderful place. The only hitch was I arrived at the airport with out my case, Kevin , the owner lent me shorts, shirts and flops to tie me over, the case arrived 2 days later. Apparently this is a rare occurrence. Definitely a repeat.
